I love Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. I first met it in 2016, on the way from Seattle to Quebec to pick up my Alto trailer, and then I returned to it on my way home, new trailer in tow. There’s something about Lake Superior and the shoreline, the waterfalls and the forests, that speaks to me. I was delighted to return to the UP in 2021 via the Lake Michigan side of the state.
