I’ve been going easy on myself the last few weeks as I adjust to some changes, but I’ve still been snapping photos of things that help me remember to live in the moment, not in the past or the future. If you’re dealing with something hard, then this post is especially for you today.
Month: March 2023
Georgia: 2023
From the looks of my plans for the rest of 2023, I’m done with Georgia so here’s a little summary post of the three weeks I spent exploring the western side of Georgia, featuring some of my favorite photo moments.
Island Sunsets
Last week, while I was camping next to a lake, I moved sites for the last two nights, something I wouldn’t normally do. In this case, though, it was well worth the effort. I had an unfettered view to the west so I could watch the sun slowly sinking down each evening. It was so beautiful both days that I gave up on making dinner and just sat outside till that big yellow ball of light had finished putting on the nightly sunset show.
Golden
It was a rainy, gray day today in the western part of Georgia, which meant moving about 45 minutes to my new campground in the drizzle and damp. Not my favorite weather, for sure, especially when towing my Alto. And especially when I hadn’t slept well last night.
