The year started out a bit on the murky side. I wasn’t sure what I was doing, and if I really wanted to continue being a full-time vagabond, wandering around the country. I still liked seeing new places, but the work of getting from Point A to Point B over and over again was taking its toll. Let’s face it, constantly thinking 6-12 months out about camping reservations isn’t for the faint of heart. Even a project manager can get burned out by that, given enough time. Maybe seven years was enough.

The sea and sky get me, in a way that words can’t quite explain. Maybe you, too, need that today.
Hey, I Have a Mailbox…
Yeah, I know that’s not exciting to most people, but it sure is to me! For seven years, I’ve been getting my mail at a service that I read online or forward to an address where I know I’ll be in the near future. Now, though, for the next three months… I HAVE A PO BOX! So if you want to drop me an actual, honest-to-goodness snail mail card, letter, or funny postcard, or a holiday card, I would love that! I literally go to the PO Box every day just to see if there’s any surprise mail in there….
Changing It Up
Like it’s a surprise to anyone after all these years that I love the beach. East coast or west, doesn’t matter. It’s the beach that counts. After seven and a half years (exactly, as it turned out), I’ve put my trailer to rest for four months and rented a beachfront pied-Ã -terre for the winter.
