Longwood Gardens, 2022 Edition
One of the best places to visit in PA is Longwood Gardens, at least in my opinion. And it’s even better to go with friends, in this case, my hosts from Lancaster, who love to visit this place in all seasons. This was my second time here, and it was even better than the first visit five years ago.
Sunday Serenity: Bridging the Gap
Humans are amazingly inventive when it comes to bridges, those wonderful constructions that enable us to get over obstructions, whether that obstruction is a river, a bay, or just a bunch of other roads. Which got me to thinking about bridges in life, because, well, it’s Sunday and I like to think about things like that on my Sunday walk.
Long Weekend in New England
Over the past few months, I’d been trying to convince one of my nephews to meet me in Boston for a long weekend. We have the same birthday month and every few years, we manage to meet up somewhere for a joint celebration. But it wasn’t until he realized the Yankees would play the Red Sox at Fenway Park that he was all in on the idea. Let’s just say he bought the Fenway tickets before he had a flight or a hotel room… When he finally picked a hotel, the “high floor river view” rooms did NOT disappoint…
August Adventures, 2022 Version
It was a month of moving around the northeast, which is fun because I got to hit a lot of places without a lot of mileage (or gas) being involved. Every single mile was on back roads, which are easy to find here, and the skies were uniformly amazing every time. Well done, Northeast!
