Here’s five more photos that didn’t seem to fit into any post so they get to share this one, simply because I like them too much to let them stay unpublished. No travelogue or politics in this post, just photos from the northeastern US.

On the road outside a campground in New York, somewhere west of the Catskills, this old barn was begging to be photographed. I love old barns but I see most of them as I’m towing, so I rarely get a chance to shoot them. Maybe someday I’ll do a barn tour..

Walking around Hudson, New York, I spotted this church steeple. I wanted to capture how tall it, rather than try to get the typical church + steeple photo. (The cover photo for this post is also from Hudson, a storefront so cool I couldn’t resist it.)

The garden of day lilies at Stanley Park in Westfield, Massachusetts, had some lovely flowers.

And to close out this post, an afternoon snap at Lake Bomoseen, in Vermont. I was only here for one night on my way up to Burlington, but it was worth it just for this one moment in time.

I hope this post made your day a little brighter and a little lighter.
Take time to look.

Thanks these pics sure made me smile. The angle on the steeple shot was fantabulous! Thanks for doing what you do.
It did!
So like these randoms. 🙂
Nice random photos! I still have a few daylilies but they are going fast. ‘Til next year!
Beautiful shots!!!
If I had to pick a fav, I’d go for the steeple shot. Nice!
My first thought at seeing the storefront was, is that at burning man? Truth! Anyway, thanks for the post, my day is definitely brighter and lighter.
We love to find barns with advertising painted on the sides. Mailpouch tobacco, falls (can’t recall which one). They are lots of fun.
Beautiful!
All wonderful shots! Glad you shared.
