Quebec Views

Posted on July 31, 2018April 2, 2019 by Annie

I feel like I’ve given short shrift to Quebec because it was toward the end of a long trip and there was such a social whirl involved in most of the stops I made in that province. So today I’m featuring some images that make me smile and remember beautiful places I saw earlier this month.

On a hike with my friends Michel and Claudette, we saw this field of wild purple irises at Parc du Bic.

And not two minutes away was this reflecting pool, nothing more than water trapped by rocks as the tide went out. Ephemeral and lovely.

In the little town of Saint-Frederic (home to Safari Condo), these church spires were beautiful in the sunlight. I wasn’t the only one that day trying to capture their unique beauty.

The approach to my campground at Frontenac involved a 10km (6.2 mile) gravel road. This view made it worth the slow pace involved. The cover photo (at the top of the post) is another water view from Frontenac, taken from the same road, different spot, on the way out.

At the little campground in Saint-Joseph, the river and waterfall were an oasis to the eye.

So there you have it, a few more views of Quebec than you saw before. Hope you enjoyed them!

So much beauty in the world, so few eyes to see it.

Thank you, Mary! I do enjoy sharing the beauty I find, so I am happy you found my website. And, yes, do explore when you pick up your Alto, there is so much to see and I only did half of Nova Scotia this trip. I’m definitely returning to explore more in future.

Great pictures, you sure have an eye for beauty and know how to capture it. Still waiting for my Alto arrive (June 2019) and will definitely make a trip to visit Quebec and then onto the Maritimes. It is time to explore my great country.
