What, a whole post about one beach? Keep reading and you’ll see why…
Inverness, Scotland
Ah, Inverness, just the name has always sounded a big magical to me. I was here overnight many years ago, so I was happy to spend a whole three nights here this trip, again with the nephew. We had so much fun!
Anstruther and St. Andrews, Scotland
And now the trip has left the station, or the city, rather. After picking up the rental car at Edinburgh airport, we headed out of the urban area. Or tried to. I made a wrong turn so we had to backtrack a bit and I did stray to the wrong side of the road once. Ah, travel is full of adventures, isn’t it?!
Details: Edinburgh
Edinburgh is a feast for the eyes if you love architecture, which I do. My camera worked overtime taking photos in this city, and it was the doors and passageways that most caught my attention on this trip.
St. Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh
If there’s one thing to know about me, it’s that I love cathedrals. Those towering monuments in stone, built by generations of men figuring out the laws of physics stone by stone, arch by arch take my breath away every encounter.
