2021 Report and Yearly Reports

Posted on January 8, 2022November 30, 2022 by Annie

I’ve just published my 2021 retrospective (wow, I’m so on point so far in 2022!). And to make it easier to find all my yearly reports (both on vagabond life and Alto trailer ownership), I’ve created a new Yearly Reports page. Quick links: 2021 retrospective and Yearly Reports You might wonder why you didn’t get an email directly from the 2021 Retrospective report. That’s because it’s a page, and not a blog post. And I can’t figure out how to send emails for pages in WordPress. So this little blurb of a blog post will do the same thing! The…

Maybe we’re all living in different versions of Bombay Beach in a matrix run by robot overlords or we’re all just characters in a video game (go see Free Guy if you haven’t yet, it’s hilarious)…

Sending 2021 into the Sunset

Posted on December 30, 2021November 30, 2022 by Annie

I had one absolutely gorgeous sunset while I was in California, so I’m using the end of the year as an excuse to publish the four shots I made as a series. As we approach the end of a difficult year for so many of us, enjoy the beauty of a Salton Sea sunset for a few minutes.

Scenes from Arizona

Posted on December 29, 2021November 30, 2022 by Annie

When I was a kid, the worst thing about going to visit my grandparents in Arizona was the desert. Ugh. So dry, so brown, so boring. All I can think now is that I just didn’t get the desert back then. Now I do. It’s beautiful in its own stark, understated way. I was just passing through this time, a few days getting from New Mexico out to California, so I didn’t visit any cool places or try to see people, although I did manage some family and friends in the Tucson area (thanks, Sherry, Judy & Joanne, and Keith…
