To be honest, it’s hard to pick my favorite stops because almost every place I’ve visited this year has had something that made it worth the time and energy to get there. From museums to special events, sightseeing boat tours and window shopping, it came down to these four wildly different places as my picks.
This is the first in a series of posts looking back at my 2022, with five more to come as I count down to 2023. For some reason, this was the year I saw a *lot* of museums. From skeletons to banjos to quilts and glass, there are a lot of fascinating museums in the US. Ah, it’s that time of year when I look back at the places I’ve been and pick my favorites. This year, I decided to feature campgrounds that were new to me this year, so no repeats of camping places I love but have stayed at before. 100% new places, that’s this post’s rule. No, not “hip” as in cool. Literally, these are shots taken from the hip, me not looking at the camera screen (iPhone in this instance) but just shooting from hip level.
