The sea and sky get me, in a way that words can’t quite explain. Maybe you, too, need that today.
Some mornings are clear and sunny, but sometimes I prefer overcast skies. That cloud cover makes the water all different shades of green and I can sit on my balcony and watch the colors changing like a chameleon as the wind blows.
Other days, the clouds are low on the horizon, giving the sun a place to hide after the early morning light.
Occasionally, I break out the Lensbaby Sol on my Sony A7 and play with focus and blur.
It’s all good here on the coast of South Carolina. From sunrise to sunset, I am definitely enjoying living by the water and hearing the surf as my constant companion.
The universe never explains why.
