I fell a bit behind in my yearly Top 10 Images picking, not doing it at all for 2021. Hmm, no idea why. So here’s a bonus post that’s also testing out (a) full-width posts (which some people have missed and I think is fixed now…) and (b) using a photo gallery plug-in to showcase sets of photos. (Please, please, please, let full-width posts be working…)
Here’s the gallery plug-in displaying thumbnails of all 10 images that are my 2021 picks.

To see them bigger, just click on an image and then you can cycle through them using arrows.
You can see all the photo galleries I’m building on the Photo Galleries page, available on the menu at the top of the website.
Hey, Elle, can you try it now? I found a way to disable the thumbnails at the bottom for the 2021 Top 10 gallery. If it works for you then I’ll go back and do it to the rest of them. Thanks!
Great photos. I am so glad to have the full screen photos back to really appreciate your skill. I’m using a tablet with Firefox and it worked easily.
You might recognize that one stream from the Smokies 🙂
Beautiful pictures! I love the egret (but not sure if that’s what it is). The streams are calming and look like they could be in the same place, but I’m guessing Roan Mountain and the Smoky Mountains???
Maybe a sci-fi novel?
Love the wide view. I’m wishing I had written a book that could use the misty purple/orange one on the cover.
Thank you, that means a lot coming from a fellow photographer!
It’s a combination of “Wow, I like that shot” and “Oh, I love that place” and then when it gets down to 20 shots, things get brutal!
Beautiful! A great selection, I don’t know how you can narrow it down!
Very well worth the wait! The shots are lovely, Annie.
I was working on the fix 90% just for you, Nita 🙂
Wonderful photos, every one of them. The bird (?egret?) is stunning. Processing it as black and white was a great choice. About my experience with your photo gallery: I am on a mac using Firefox and the gallery thumbnails remain visible at the bottom of every large photo, which makes it difficult to see the whole photo. Love the full width displays though!
Yay! Very nice. Love the wider photos. Always enjoy your posts.
