Ah, the lowly triangle shape! It seems to be everywhere now that the week’s challenge is done but for seven days, all incarnations of the triangle conspired to hide from my camera. Seriously, it was like playing a game of hide and seek last week!
I thought for half a minute that the cover photo (up at the top of this post) might work but the flags really aren’t triangles. I still like the image, though.
Then I found a church steeple and spent so much time checking out angles and exposures that I was pretty sure an observer would think I’d never seen a steeple before in my life! But I did get a good shot out of it.
Then, a few days later, I was walking down the street and met the most obliging trash can, posed as if it knew I was coming.
So, yes, this is the one I submitted last week. How could I not? Trash can triangle, it’s perfect for this weird time we’re in. And as a bonus, there’s a triangle street sign just above it.
We see beauty in simplicity because we can see its underlying efficiency.
Great pictures. Trash can shot a winner. Especially love the angles of the church steeple. Stay safe and be well.

Thanks, Betty Lou! Hope you are staying safe and doing well, too.
And where are you, how are you? You’ve had your share of scary news, and perhaps even more uncertainties than some of us right now. Blessings.
Thsnks, Ingrid! I am holed up with friends in Florida, staying here until it is safe for everyone to move around, however long that is. Hope you are doing OK in these uncertain times.
