I went out for a walk on the beach this morning, greeted by a damp chill that made me glad I had grabbed the warmer jacket and the fleece hat. There were few humans willing to brave the elements but the pelicans were having a great time soaring south on the wind.
And then the light changed. Oh, man, the light was gorgeous.

All I had was my iPhone so I used it to capture what I could.

When I got home and downloaded the images, they were grainy but the colors were there. So I haven’t edited them at all. This is, as the pros say, SOOC (Straight Out Of Camera). They look like paintings, not photos.

There are only three of them but they seem a matched set to me and I really love them. Sometimes it’s not the equipment or the settings or the photographer. Sometimes it’s just being in the right spot at exactly the right time.
People talk about perfect timing, but I think everything is perfect in its moment; you just want to capture that.

Wow, that would be great, Barb! I’m always honored when someone uses one of my images to create new art!
Very pretty!
I miss the sea a lot. Your picture made me smile:)
I’m thinking of painting at least one of them. Beautiful.
They do look like paintings! Just so lovely.
Gorgeous colors.
So beautiful! Thank you.
