To end the workweek on a high note for you, here’s five beautiful views of Acadia. For those who have never been here and may never get here, I’m trying to capture the beauty for you.

The rocky scenery of Otter Cliffs is breathtaking, classic downeast Maine coastline.
On a sunny day, it’s clear Spring is in the air!

Even on a foggy day, the Acadia coast is beautiful. And you can scamper out onto those rocks for a better view or to simply sit and let it all soak into your soul.

There are so many things here to see, and these are just from the one park area I explored this time around.

From lakes to streams, coast to mountains, Acadia truly has it all. There’s even a pocket beach with real sand, although it’s probably always too cold for me to consider swimming in it (and, yes, I have been in Maine waters this far north in high summer and it is COLD).

Hope you’ve enjoyed the tour!
Note for Americans: Acadia is one of America’s National Parks, so next time you can support the parks in any way (voting, letting your congressional reps know you want a strong National Park system, etc.), think of Acadia and all this wildness available to everyone, and then stand up for National Parks.
National parks are the best idea we ever had. Absolutely American, absolutely democratic, they reflect us at our best rather than our worst.

Beautiful, and great photos.
Thank you for the reminder note, too.
Beautiful photos and great quote. I have not been to Acadia but it’s on the list!
