This week, I’m perched on the edge of the water and the edge of the continent, and I’m up early every day in anticipation of the sunrise.
The dark sky lightens slowly, barely changing from minute to minute until the first golden light spreads across the horizon.
The sky continues its golden turn and now the water picks up the light and changes colors.
And then there it is, the sun peeping over the faraway hills. The anticipation is over, the day has begun.
Be happy in anticipation of what’s coming.
