I just watched a short video of Jim Carrey, the artist (yeah, also the actor and comedian) and it was fantastic to watch him playing with paint and color and form. It’s a short video, and I highly recommend watching the six-minute video if you need a boost, creative or otherwise.
It inspired me to go find the most colorful things in my photo catalog, and it turns out they are from my favorite place in Seattle, the Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum. And the things I have photographed the most, trying to find the perfect image, are the ikebana boats.

They are so full of colors and shapes that it just makes me smile to look at them.

One trip, there were so many people that it was hard to get a good shot, so I played with zooming in while the shutter was open. Got a lot of weird takes, but this one worked out the best.

Where’s your color, your passion, today?
You can tell what I love by the color of the paintings. You can tell my inner life by the darkness in some of them and you can tell what I want from the brightness in some of them.
Jim Carrey

Beautiful pictures. I enjoyed the Jim Carey video also.
