I spent Jan-April in the deserts of the Southwest (NM and AZ), then dodged thunderstorms and wind warnings (TX, OK, and AR) before sweating under a heat dome in the midwest (IL, KY, IN, OH). I made a beeline across NY in July and spent the rest of the summer in the Northeast. By mid-September, I was headed south: MA, CT, NY, NJ, PA, DE, VA, TN, SC, GA, and finally FL the first week of November.
