I’m a vagabond, so my images focus mainly on landscapes and nature.

(Note: You can download photos from my smugmug site for free; I don’t have the membership there that lets me charge for photos because it costs too much.)

My Equipment
- Sony A7 mirrorless camera, usually with either a 35mm or 55mm prime lens.
- Apple iPhone XS. I’m using this more and more for taking shots while being a tourist or hanging out with friends.
- Sony HX-80 point-and-shoot camera. This is good for quick shots out the car window or when hiking in damp weather since it easily fits into a pocket.
- My backup camera is a Leica D-Lux (fixed zoom lens).
My advice when looking for a camera? Try before you buy.
Find a good camera store or go to a place like Best Buy and try them out. See what sizes fit your hands (too big or too heavy, and you won’t use it as much) and what menu system fits your brain. For example, Canon’s menu system confuses me, but for some reason, Sony’s menu system makes sense to me; you might find the reverse is try.
