Today we went to a park right in the middle of the city! And of course we took pictures!
At lunch time, Annie and I took the elevator all the way down from her office to the ground. We wanted to walk outside because it was really sunny and it was warm too. We didn’t even wear our jackets! That’s how warm it was today.
I was happy it was sunny and it wasn’t raining. Flat Emmas do not like rain!
We saw a huge bell outside a fire station.
They don’t use it now. But when they did, it was so big that when they rang it, you could hear the sound for 10 miles. Wow!
We saw some funny looking bicycle statues. Annie said that people use them to park their bikes, but no one did it so they just look like funny bikes. I like them, though. It would be fun to have bike stands like that in Osceola!
Then we came to the little park and there were a lot of people there enjoying the sunshine like us. The park didn’t have any grass but it had a lot of flowers so I liked that.
It was a really noisy park because it was in the middle of all the big buildings. We saw trucks and busses and a fire engine and some police cars and even a police officer riding a horse! And there were lots of cars, too, so I was careful to not go near the busy streets.
We walked around and saw two men playing a huge game of chess. The pieces were bigger than me!
And that’s the story of our visit to the City Park!
Wait, there’s one more picture of me!
