I’m here, I’m here! I made it to Seattle today. Whew, that was a long trip for someone who had to be stuffed in an envelope. Here’s the first thing I saw in Seattle: the mailbox and my Aunt Annie!
My legs were so cramped from being in that tiny space that my Aunt Annie let me run with her on the treadmill in the basement and get some exercise. Turns out I love to run! Hmm, maybe that’s because the real Eden likes to run too…
Did you know that it’s a different time in Seattle than it is in Osceola? I did not know that! I was so tired and it was still light outside. When I asked Annie what time it was, she said it was only 6PM. When I said I felt like it was later, she said that my body probably thought it was 8PM because it’s two hours later in Osceola than it is here in Seattle. Wow!
I have my own bed right next to Aunt Annie, which is good because it’s a long way from Wisconsin to Seattle and I was feeling a little homesick. She let me sleep with Lewis Harris, her special bear that goes on all her trips (he’s named after the Isle of Lewis and the Isle of Harris in Scotland!).
I can’t wait for tomorrow because I get to see Seattle!
