Spain: Ajo, a Beach, and a Cold
Ah, Ajo, you and I could have been great together. Beaches with lovely views, cool little towns but… me with the worst head cold I’ve had in literally a decade. (Insert sad sigh here)

As with any city, Bilbao has some lovely doors and details. Here were some of the favorites from my trip.
Spain: Guggenheim Bilbao Museum
Long on my list of things to see, but never thinking I might, was the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. To be honest, it’s the main reason I picked the city for a visit.

Never been to Spain, so the excitement of seeing a new country was rising as the plane landed in Bilbao. Waited an hour at the airport for my niece and family to arrive, and then, off we went!
