I’d already made my Spring reservations and was halfway through the trip before I realized how close I was going to be to Mammoth Cave National Park. Take a Hike: Audubon State Park, IN
It’s time for another installment of “Take a Hike” and this time we’re at John James Audubon State Park on the edge of Kentucky and Indiana. Let’s go!
New Harmony, Indiana
When in Kentucky, you sometimes have to do a bit of digging to find interesting things, especially after a week in the same campground. So when Bill suggested New Harmony, Indiana for lunch and exploring, I signed up instantly.
Evansville, IN

J.J. Audubon State Park, Kentucky
Well, I didn’t *plan* to stay at this park for 10 nights, but that’s how things worked out. If you’d told me last year that I’d be spending almost three weeks in Kentucky, I would have probably laughed out loud. But here I am… I’ve already shredded my 2024 Bingo card as far as destinations go, I guess.
