I’m totally going to indulge myself in today’s post. It’s rainy and grey here in Gainesville and I am missing beaches something fierce. So here, for me — and for all of you who might need it too — is a day of water views…
Let’s start with this beautiful sunrise over the Atlantic, at Salisbury Beach in Massachusetts
Now that the day has begun, let’s take a walk on the warm sand of Marina State Beach, in central California (and in our perfect day, there is no smoky air from horrible fires).
Maybe lunchtime is a good time to switch coasts, so we jump in the transporter and suddenly we’re at Bandon Beach in Oregon. Nice, isn’t it?
I’m having a great day! I hope you are, too.
Let’s slide down the coast to Morro Bay for some late afternoon light. If your imagination is really good, put yourself in a kayak at the bottom right of the view. Yep, that was me and my friend, Alissa, two years ago December.
Let’s get the whole gang and stand on the cliffs at Fort Bragg and Glass Beach, waiting for the sunset.
Ah, it’s a beauty today.
There’s no better way to end the daylight than at the water’s edge, watching that big ball of fire slide below the horizon.
My day feels much better now. I hope yours does, too.
Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine.

The wonder, glory, and peace of the sun’s travels: Annie, you remind me to partake of life. Thank you.
