After a couple of weeks of looking for it, I finally found the colors of autumn, driving I-75 the length of Michigan. After some early morning rain, the clouds turned white, the sky blue, and the trees showed off their finery.
Each tree is different: size, shape, colors, branches, and yet, they look beautiful together. Hmm, maybe there’s a lesson in there somewhere, you think?
As the season changes, the sun sets earlier and the overnight cold snaps are back. It’s part of the cycle of life, and trees show us every year that growth and renewal are possible. Why not shed some things you don’t need this fall, work on lightening your load? Who knows what might happen?
Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next.Â
