I left the Pacific coast behind this week and it got me to thinking about all the sunsets I’ve seen since August and the beginning of my coastal sojourn.
There’s something about a good sunset. Sometimes it’s the classic view.

Sometimes it’s the people we’re with.

Or the little birds digging for one last bit of food before darkness falls.

Or the way the fading light turns a tree into a sculpture.

Sometimes, it’s the peace of a day ending on a good note as the sun slips away.

There’s never one sunrise the same or one sunset the same.

Soon, Connie, your day is coming, and I hope to be around to help you celebrate your freedom this summer too.

I am anxiously awaiting the day of retirement soon on June 16! Less than 160 days away!!!!!
