I know, we’re not even through half of January yet, and I’m already tired of winter grey and brown and white as a color palette. So I went on an expedition through flower images I’ve taken over the last several years to create a rainbow of flowers for today’s post. I may be stuck in winter but I can dream of spring.
I’d rather have roses on my table than diamonds on my neck.
Flowers are the music of the ground,
From earth’s lips spoken without sound
There came a time when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.
Where flowers bloom, so does hope.
Lady Bird Johnson
Nobody sees a flower really; it is so small. We haven’t time, and to see takes time – like to have a friend takes time
