There’s few things I love more than an ocean sunset, so when the day-long storm was over and the sun broke through the cloud cover, I wasn’t the only one who headed to the cliffs. It felt a bit otherworldy to see so many humans standing on the edge of the continent staring at the sun.
The sunset itself was hard to capture because it became so bright as the sun neared the horizon. I used a twilight filter to dampen the light and then caught the reflection in a standing tide pool.
Here’s a similar shot for those who prefer blues and purples in their sunsets.
Cherish sunsets, wild creatures, and wild places. Have a love affair with the wonder and beauty of the earth.
