Sunday used to be the day I tried to do too much. Get all those weekend chores done before Monday and the workweek hit. Now, not so much 🙂 It’s the day campgrounds clear out, and I try to relax and not get caught up in the frenzy of people packing up and hitting the road. So with that in mind, the Sunday Serenity series was born.
Today’s subject: The south jetty in Eureka, at the end of a long bumpy road off Highway 101. An hour of taking photos, another hour editing, and three emerged as the winners.
First, this lovely tree high on the hill above the beach has survived much. Bent but not broken, it draws attention to the horizon beyond.
These fragmites, nasty weeds though they are, do look beautiful in the right light.
And to finish off today’s trio, you really can’t go wrong with a beach shot.
“Serenity comes when you trade expectations for acceptance.”
